About Me

I aim to create more flexible and visual tools to aid both artists and engineers.

I have always liked to tinker with how things work on the inside. One of my favorite toys ever from childhood was Snapcircuits, which then became a redstone obsession in Minecraft. After that, I decided to build my own PC, and since then I’ve loved trying to understand what goes on on a systems level.

This is what initially inspired my major and classes. 18213, Computer Systems, was an incredible starting insight into what goes on under the hood, and I hope to learn more in 15418, Parallel Computer Architecture and Programming.

Separately, I became fascinated with art and especially digital drawing programs like procreate. I mainly was interested in painting portraits, but I wanted to find a way of connecting both STEM and art together. This brought me to taking both 15362 Computer Graphics and 15472 Real-Time Computer Graphics, where I learned more about how graphics engines worked, and inspired me to start the 3D drawing app.

In the future, I strive to make tools that aid artists by creating more customizable and flexible interfaces to let them create more freely. In addition to artists, I aim to create useful visual interfaces for engineers so that they can quickly diagnose and visualize issues to address.
